Aslan Acoustics hand crafts speakers for both enthusiasts and audiophiles (signature series). Our primary business is custom designing speakers uniquely for each client to suit their system, room and personal tastes. Listed below are some of the many options available, but this is just the tip of the iceberg. If you want something really special, we are the people to talk to. As we manufacture and sell directly to the public our pricing is substantially lower than you would pay at a conventional retail outlet.

M1 Mini Monitor                                 $1,495.00 pr (passive),  $2,495.00 pr (active - special order)

The M1 is a new design utilising a 6.5" doped paper cone mid/bass unit with 30mm voice coil and massive magnet structure. The rubber surround allows for cone excursion of 4mm to deliver exceptional bass in a small sealed enclosure. This 8 ohm impedance driver is matched to Vifa's famous XT25 dual concentric Ring Radiator for high frequency extension beyond 30KHz.

Crossover components (as in all Aslan designs), incorporate Mundorf capacitors, coils and resistors in the signal path areas of the circuit ensuring precise imaging and soundstage.

The M1 is rated at 60watts rms, with a frequency range from 60Hz to 30KHz and presents a nominal impedance of 8 ohms to the amplifier making it suitable for all types of systems, be it Stereo or Home Theatre use. The speakers measure 320mm (h) x 210mm (w) x 230mm (d) and weigh 8kgs each.

Available finishes include your choice of veneer or acrylic lacquer colour. 

Custom made stands are available from $200.00 per pair.

The M1A active version incorporates a plate amplifier on the back panel with both RCA and XLR inputs, tweeter gain adjustment and woofer contour control. The crossover occurs at line level and the woofer has a dedicated 110 watt rms amplifier while the tweeter has 80watt rms available.

The C6 standmount design utilises twin 6.5" doped paper cone mid/bass units with 30mm voice coils and massive 100mm x 25mm magnet structures. A Kapton voice coil ensure smooth handling of transients with good heat shedding capability. The rubber surround allows for cone excursion of 4mm to deliver exceptional bass in a vented enclosure. Each mid/woofer is fitted with dual 8 ohm voice coils rated at 60 watts rms each is matched to Vifa's famous XT25 dual concentric Ring Radiator for high frequency extension beyond 30KHz.

Crossover components (as in all Aslan designs), incorporate Mundorf capacitors, coils and resistors in the signal path areas of the circuit ensuring precise imaging and soundstage.

The C6 is rated at a staggering 160 watts rms, and is capable of over 100dB spl's with a frequency range from 40Hz to 30KHz and presents a nominal impedance of 8 ohms to the amplifier making it suitable for all types of systems, be it Stereo or Home Theatre use. The speakers measure 600mm (h) x 230mm (w) x 300mm (d) and weigh 14kgs each.

Quite simply, the bass from these speakers defies their physical size.

A floorstanding version of the C6 with the same driver compliment and crossover circuit. The new speaker features a separate chamber in the base to isolate the crossover from microphonic vibration and measures 1000mm x 230mm x 300mm with a slightly over size plinth base.

Optional extra's for the F6 include tweeter diffraction pads ($150.00) and a mass loaded base incorporating an additional base chamber filled with 15 kilograms of crushed garnet per cabinet to directly couple the speaker to the floor ($100.00)

Pro-12 Subwoofer                                    From $2,000 to $2,995 depending on materials used

The Pro-12 Active subwoofer is a bass reflex design incorporating dual layer cabinet construction of 18mm MDF coupled with selected hardwood outer shell. The cabinet is lined with 40mm thick acoustic damping to further ensure there are no cabinet resonances.

The driver is a hand made 300mm unit featuring aluminium split windings on a 76mm fibreglass voice coil, dual gap motor assembly, and dual spiders for improved linearity and reduced harmonic distortion The magnet assembly weighs 4.8 kilograms and is integrated into a cast alloy frame assembly of unsurpassed rigidity. Due to the driver total mass of 15.5 kilograms it is mounted at both the front and rear.

The amplifier module is rated at 350 watts rms and offers both high and low level inputs and outputs for ease of connection. It also features phase switching, auto power on and off and remote control adjustment of both crossover frequency and volume.

The Pro-12 offers an in room spl of up to 115dB @ 3.5 metres @ 25Hz and is available in 3 cabinet configurations.
