Turntable Plinths

   

 At Aslan Acoustics we specialise in manufacturing turntable plinths for a variety of collectible and esoteric Idler drive, belt drive and direct drive turntables. All plinths are CLD construction with the option of all ply or composite ply and mdf layering. Ply plinths can be oiled direct over the ply in either Danish or tung oil and composite plinths are veneered first before being oiled.

In order to keep costs to a minimum we have standardised the plinth size at 560 x 460 x 150mm to give added mass and all plinths feature 19 x 28mm cutouts for IEC power leads and an RCA panel on the rear of the chassis. These cutouts can be used to feed power or RCA leads through if you wish to retain your existing lead assemblies. A unique feature of the Aslan plinth is the rotatinge armboard which allows you to fit arms with offets from 215mm to 300mm which covers most of the 9", 10" and 12" aftermarket arms on the market today.

We currently have designs available for Garrard 301and 401, Commonwealth 12C and 12D, Lenco L75 with PDP3 Chassis and Rola Professional

On the drawing board for future release will be models for JH/Silcron, Pioneer idler drives, Technics Direct Drives and many others.

Plinth prices start at:

 $575 plus delivery for a 150mm composite (NZ pine ply and mdf) plinth in veneer finish.

$475 plus delivery for all ply in striplam oil finish

$775 plus delivery for Eco Certified Russian Birch Ply striplam in oil finish

Veneers on offer include Amercian Oak, Forest Redgum, Zebrano, Brazillian Purple Heart, Quilted Bubinga and many others.
